I take pride in volunteering work too where I used my knowledge to create gardens of community value. Here are some examples:
- Heritage Vancouver Garden Tour June 22-23, 2019, supporting Heritage Vancouver Society, showed a garden I designed and promoted pest free ways to conquer chafer beetle on lawns, by replacing lawn with a choice of flowering plants
- Buddhist Monestery Birken, Kamploops, BC (landscape design for 80 acres of land)
- Bloedel Conservatory, Vancouver, BC. (orchid displays and seminars for public and volunteers)
- Vancouver Orchid Society (making displays for annual show and organizing Floral art show)
- Fraser Valley Orchid Society (Floral art show, and seminars)
- St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, Vancouver (redesigned grounds around the church and organized fundraiser and planting
- Unitarian church of Vancouver, BC (Sunday flower displays)
- Harbour Cove (planting plan, redesign)
